screencasting guidelines

Rules

  • Desktop resolution of 1280x720
  • Google Chrome in Incognito Mode
  • Digitec Desktop Wallpaper (if desktop is visible)
  • Video starts with full screen shot (before any zooming in takes place)

Suggestions

  • Preproduction: Perform a walkthrough of all actions in the screencast, and write down your script as you perform the actions.
  • Production: Record the screencast and voiceover audio in different sessions
