[Subtitle] Room is Vacant/Ready

When a digital key Guest arrives before noon, and before the system has issued a digital key, you will:

  1. Retrieve the Guest's reservation. You will see the Guest has completed digital check-in and has opted for a digital key, based on the icon on the luggage tag. At this point, your check-in must occur in the Dashboard; otherwise, the Guest will not automatically receive a digital key.
  2. Go to the Daily Activity screen on the dashboard and locate the Guest.
  3. Click the “Early Checkin” check box. This will allow the system to automatically issue the digital key prior to noon.

After a moment, the reservation will appear in-house in OnQ PM, and the Guest will receive the digital key.

[Subtitle] Room is Not Vacant/Ready

If a digital key Guest arrives before noon and the assigned room is not Vacant/Ready, the digital key will not be issued. In this situation:

  1. Offer an alternative room that is Vacant/Ready, if available

OR

  1. Wait until the assigned room is Vacant/Ready

If an alternate room is available, you will:

  1. Change the room assignment on the reservation to the new Vacant/Ready room.
  2. Go to the Daily Activity screen on the dashboard and locate the Guest.
  3. Click the “Early Checkin” check box. This will allow the system to automatically issue the digital key prior to noon.

After a moment, the reservation will appear in-house in OnQ PM, and the Guest will receive the digital key.
